Google Earth 6.2

Google Earth is a virtual globe program that lets you fly anywhere on Earth to view satellite imagery, maps, terrain, 3D buildings and even explore galaxies in the Sky. You can explore rich geographical content, save your toured places and share with others.

Google Earth displays satellite images of varying resolution of the Earth's surface, allowing users to visually see things like houses and cars from a bird's eye view. The degree of resolution available is based somewhat on the points of interest, but most land is covered in at least 15 meters of resolution.

Features of Google Earth:

- Fly from space to your neighborhood. Type in an address and zoom right in. Search for schools, parks, restaurants, and hotels. Get driving directions.
- Save and share your searches and favorites. Even add your own annotations.
- Photo-realistic Buildings. You can access hundreds of buildings from the world's cities, including San Francisco, Boston, Orlando, Munich, Zurich and dozens more.
- Swoop Navigation. Tilt and rotate the view to see 3D terrain and buildings. Fly seamlessly through the landscape with navigation controls. Swoop from outer space to street level and leap from one building top to another.
- Light and Shadow. With the new Sunlight feature, you can watch the sunrise and sunset from anywhere. Move the time slider to watch dusk, dawn and shadows move across the Earth.
- Street View. Street View, available in Google Maps, is now in Google Earth. Fly in to panoramic images of selected cities and take a 360 degree tour.
- Sky mode. Google Earth added a Sky tool for viewing stars and astronomical images.
- Wikipedia and Panoramio integration. When any of these dots are selected, the user will be shown the Wikipedia or Panoramio entry right in Google Earth.

Attention:

This software will be installed using the Google Updater, which is included in the Google Pack.
