Firefox Add-ons
One benefit the Firefox browser offers is the number of extensions developers have created. Add-ons extend Firefox, letting you personalize your browsing experience.

The number well exceeds a thousand. These extensions enhance the browser by adding features that weren't provided in the program. The best known of these extensions is maintained by the Mozilla foundation.
Many add-ons provide new interface objects such as buttons and toolbars and different customization options. Be sure to click on the Options button in the Firefox add-ons manage if it has been enabled, and also go to "View - Toolbars - Customize..." to see if a new toolbar or toolbar buttons have been added.
